The Spotlight Awards returned in 2022 to promote the Portuguese game development industry by celebrating its creators, studios, people and organizations.

This year’s edition of the Spotlight Awards ceremony took place in Marvila’s Library on the 17th of November. Game Dev Lisbon organized the event celebrating the Portuguese game industry by recognizing their games, creators, studios and communities.

The Spotlight Awards featured multiple categories, including Game of the Year, Studio of the Year, Developer of the Year, Reveal of the Year, Community Impact and Best Student Game. APVP contributed to the Reveal of the Year by sponsoring the award with a free membership. 

To maintain the goal of celebrating the Portuguese Game Development Industry in 2022, here are the winners of all categories:
