Indie X 2022 – Best Portuguese Game

APVP joined forces with Indie X to curate the 2022 Best Portuguese Game category. The winner was HordeCore by Digitality Games!

The international independent game developers festival Indie X has become one of the most important events in the gaming industry in Portugal. It’s an annual celebration of creativity and innovation in video games, and, for the first time, APVP partnered with the organization to curate the Best Portuguese Game.

The Best Portuguese Game category at Indie X 2022 celebrated the most promising Portuguese games. With five finalists, each unique and deserving of recognition, they shared a common trait: they were all made with passion and dedication by talented Portuguese game developers. The finalists were:


The Indie X 2022 Best Portuguese Game winner was the HordeCore by Digitality Games, taking home a cash prize of 1000€ sponsored by Funcom ZPX.
